About this work

This drawing shows a simple shape—like a dome or half of a sphere. It’s made of smooth black lines stacked in curves. The paper is light, almost see-through, and the lines are clean and even. The artist used thin ink lines to build up the shape. There’s no color, just black and white. The paper has a grid in the background, like a sketch might. Look up cross-hatching to see how artists use lines to create shadows.
