About this work

This is a blank white wall with a single thin line of vertical gouache strokes hanging near the corner. The strokes are tightly packed, forming a narrow column against the smooth surface. Everything else is just white—no other shapes or colors. The artist painted this directly on the wall, so it’s part of the space itself. It’s simple but makes you notice the corner differently. Next, check out gouache—it’s a paint that’s opaque and water-based, often used for bold, flat colors.
