This painting shows three dark red blobs stacked in a row. They look wet and uneven, like spilled paint. The background is plain white, with a few faint marks. The blobs are made from cut-up cardstock with pigment and varnish. The artist used simple shapes but made them feel heavy and real. Look up Roni Horn next to see more of their work.
