This print is all black lines on white paper. You see two big shapes that look like animals—one on the left with sharp, jagged edges, the other on the right with a more rounded form. The lines are thick and uneven, like they were carved or scratched into the surface. The artist used a tool to cut into wood, then pressed ink into the grooves to make the print. That’s how the rough, textured lines got so bold. Look up woodcut to see how this technique works.
