This print shows a strange, dreamlike scene. Tall, thin trees fill the left side, their trunks packed tightly together. In the center, a large, jagged shape with hollow eyes looms over a dark, rocky area. A smooth, curved form—maybe a wave or cloth—cuts across the bottom, while a checkered pattern appears at the top. The artist played with shapes that don’t quite fit reality, mixing rough textures with smooth ones. The hollow eyes in that big shape feel almost like a face staring out. Want to know more?
