About this work

This image shows a grid of tiny squares filling the whole page. The lines are neat and even, making a big rectangle. There’s a single dot near the bottom left, breaking the pattern. The writing at the bottom gives the size of the area: 12 by 12 inches, with 2,304 squares. The artist made this using a printing method called letterpress, where ink is pressed onto paper through carved plates. It’s not a painting but a precise, mechanical print.
