This painting shows three sheets of paper taped together side by side. On each sheet, there’s a row of small, blue rectangles with tiny white shapes inside them. The background is plain and light-colored, almost like blank pages. The blue rectangles stand out clearly against the pale surface. The artist used oil, wax, and pencil to create these shapes. They look like they were carefully placed in neat lines, but the effect is simple and orderly. Next, check out Toba Khedoori to see how she plays with color and space in other works.
