This is a simple clay bowl with two small handles on the sides. The handles look handmade, with fingerprints pressed into the ends where they were attached. The inside is plain, but the outside has a cream-colored band with painted designs—some dark green shapes that look like leaves or flowers, and brown swirls. The bowl’s shape is practical, with a wide base and a slightly flaring rim. The paint is rough but intentional, not like a polished painting.
