Untitled is a 2003 ink by William Kentridge, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This print shows a simple black-and-white drawing of an old-fashioned typewriter. The machine fills most of the frame, its keys and wheels sharply outlined against a light background. The lines are bold and slightly rough, giving it a sketchy, handmade feel. The artist used a printing method called *aquatint*, which lets ink spread softly in some spots. This makes the typewriter look both solid and slightly ghostly at once. Check out The Museum of Modern Art to see more prints like this.
