Untitled is a 2007 ink by Zachary Wollard, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This painting shows a dreamlike scene with an elephant on the left and a giraffe on the right. Between them is a deep, narrow chasm with a waterfall and tiny figures climbing up. Above, a banner reads *"The cause is hidden. The effect is visible all."* The sky is bright with a sun and moon, while the ground has scattered animals and plants. Notice how the artist used gold leaf to highlight parts of the waterfall and banner. It catches the light and makes those spots stand out. Look up etching to see how artists like Wollard create detailed prints with acid and metal plates.
