About this work

This print shows big, squished shapes in bright colors. Yellow and green forms crowd together, some overlapping. Darker spots peek out behind them. The background is a soft blue, almost like a wash. The artist used a scratchy, layered method to build up the colors. Lines and textures make the shapes feel rough and uneven. Look up Bill Jensen to see more of his work.
