About this work

This painting shows a few inkblots scattered across a light background. The shapes look like birds or bats, some upside down, others floating alone. The ink is dark and uneven, with some spots smudged or dripping. The artist made these marks quickly, almost like splatters. The loose, messy style feels more like doodles than careful drawings.
