About this work

This painting shows three open doors leading to strange scenes. The first door frames a cloud with a giant eye in its center. The second door opens to a bright yellow sun and a sloping field. The third door reveals a blue sky with a small figure inside, and the words "on time" written on the wall. The artist painted thick, textured brushstrokes that make the colors feel almost tactile.
