About this work

This painting shows a black wooden window frame with two shutters. Inside, bright green leaves with yellow stripes grow from the top, spilling over the ledge. A single small green leaf sits on the sill below, as if it just fell. The artist used real printed paper cutouts for the leaves, glued onto a photo.
