About this work

This picture looks like a mix of shapes and textures. On the left, there are big, smooth blobs in black and white. In the middle, a face with a head covering is blurry and pale. To the right, there’s a spiral pattern with a small dot in the center. The artist used ink and pencil on a plastic sheet. The blobs and lines look like they’re layered on top of each other. Check out cross-hatching to see how artists build shadows with lines.
