This sketch shows a woman with messy hair and smudged makeup. She’s holding a cigarette in one hand and pointing with the other. Her face is half-lit, and the drawing looks like it was done quickly with pencil and a little color. The paper has a torn edge, and there’s a swirly line near her wrist. The artist pasted the drawing onto two pages from a book. That’s why it looks like it’s split down the middle. Check out Jean-Luc Verna to see more of his loose, expressive style.
