About this work

This drawing shows two big, blocky figures in a room. One looks like a person sitting in a chair with a crown-like shape on their head, holding a small object. The other is a giant head floating above a tall, striped pillar. In the background, smaller figures stand near a table with glasses. The lines are sharp and dark, with lots of shading. The artist used pencil to build up layers of marks, almost like scribbling but controlled. The faces have big, simple eyes and strong lines for mouths.
