Untitled is a 2003 watercolor by Marlene Dumas, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This painting shows a reclining figure with a pale, almost ghostly skin tone. The body is slightly curled, one arm bent under the head, the other stretched out. The face is turned away, and the colors are mostly soft grays and whites, with just a hint of red near the hand. The loose, sketchy lines make the body look more like a quick study than a polished portrait. The artist used thin, watery layers of paint to create the effect.
