This painting shows two ghostly figures floating in a dim, dreamy space. Their forms are blurry and pale, almost see-through, with soft pink and gray tones. Below, a single candle sits on a rough surface, casting a faint glow upward. The artist used loose, smudged lines to make everything feel unclear, like a half-remembered vision. The figures’ faces are hard to make out, adding to the mystery. Check out Mary Frank for more of her eerie, shadowy works.
