This painting shows four black shapes on a white background. There’s a giant question mark, a hand with fingers spread wide, a hat tilted to one side, and a cane leaning against the hand. The shapes are simple and flat, like cutouts. The artist used a soft, matte paint called gouache. It’s not shiny like oil paint—it looks smooth and a little fuzzy.
