Untitled is a 1976 ink by Mike Kelley, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This print is mostly bright yellow with brown lines and shapes scattered across it. In the center, there’s a fainter, lighter square showing a drawing of a person with arms raised, like they’re holding something. The edges of the whole piece look rough, almost torn, and there are small white dots and splatters everywhere. The brown lines look like they were made by pressing hard into the paper, creating a textured effect. The lighter square in the middle feels different—it’s smoother and less busy than the rest.
