Untitled is a 1962 by Phillip Hefferton, held at Museum of Modern Art.
This is a pale green sheet of paper with almost nothing on it. In the top half, there’s a single, loose black line—kind of like a squiggle or a broken oval. The line is thin and uneven, as if drawn quickly. In the bottom right corner, someone wrote the name *"Hefferton"* in small, handwritten letters. The paper looks like it was made in a hurry, maybe even copied by hand. It’s part of a set of five similar sheets, all simple and spare. If you like this kind of minimal art, check out The Museum of Modern Art for more examples.
Phillip Hefferton was an American pop artist from Detroit, Michigan, known for his paintings of banknotes.
