This image shows a simple black rectangle with a smaller, lighter shape inside. The lighter part is a pale gold with a thin red line at the bottom. Inside that gold area, there are two thin white lines that look like cracks or cracks in ice. The artist used a printing method that lets them layer tones smoothly. The red line at the bottom adds a tiny pop of color to the otherwise muted palette. Next, check out how etching works to see how artists create these layered effects.
