This sketch shows four people in a rough, outdoor scene. One person plays a guitar while sitting on the ground. Another sits nearby, holding a hat and looking down. A third person leans against a horse, and a small child stands close by. The lines are loose and quick, like a fast sketch. The artist used a drypoint technique, which means they scratched lines into a metal plate to make the print. This left a slightly rough, textured look.
