Trilokesh Mukherjee spent his days sketching on the back of bus tickets in Calcutta, turning scraps into sharp little jokes about art. He drew posters for shows that never happened, turning "Questions about Sculpture" into a riddle you could hold in your hand. His 1984-85 poster for that never-was exhibition, ink on paper, no wasted lines, is where he feels most alive: try to find it tucked between flyers in Delhi’s old art schools.
