Louis Parrocel

Louis Parrocel was a French painter and engraver active during the seventeenth century. Born in 1634 and passing in 1694, he worked within the artistic traditions of his nation. His professional life was closely intertwined with his family, as he was the sibling of the artist Joseph Parrocel. He also served as the parent to two notable artists, Pierre Parrocel and Jacques-Ignace Parrocel.
