Eugène Delaplanche

Eugène Delaplanche was a French artist who lived from 1836 to 1891 who worked as both a painter and a sculptor. His artistic formation included study under Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, a significant figure in French sculpture of the period. Later in his career, Delaplanche assumed the role of educator, notably teaching the artist Raoul François Larche.
