Ion Murariu

Romanian painter Ion Murariu made gentle scenes of home and nature in the mid-20th century. In Casa străbunilor mei you’ll find the gabled house he painted over and over, its white walls and red roof set against rolling hills. Sălcii în Deltă shows silver willows lining the slow waters of the Danube Delta, their branches catching low light.
