Jacob Jacobs was a Belgium artist.

Jacob Jacobs was a Belgian painter who lived from 1812 to 1879, known for his work in landscape and seascape genres. Throughout his career, he dedicated himself to the instruction of several notable artists who would go on to shape the region's artistic landscape. His pupils included Gustave Louis Marie Piéron, Adriaan Jozef Heymans, Théodore Verstraete, and Frans Hens. He also served as a teacher to Jean Pierre François Lamorinière and Emile Claus. Through this mentorship, Jacobs influenced a generation of painters while maintaining his own practice as a landscape and seascape artist during the nineteenth century.
