Jan Baptist Collaert

Jan Baptist Collaert (1590–1627) was an engraver, publisher, and illustrator active during the early seventeenth century. He worked within a prominent family of artists, being the child of Adriaen Collaert and the sibling of Carel Collaert. His professional life centered on the creation and dissemination of printed images through engraving and illustration. As a publisher, he contributed to the circulation of visual art in his time.
