Pamela F.R.P.S. Booth

Pamela F.R.P.S. Booth is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Pamela Booth kept a tiny Rolleiflex in her coat pocket and shot what she saw on walks, no fuss, no tripod, just a quick click between sips of tea. She loved how Vienna’s Belvedere Palace gardens looked at dusk, when the paths folded into shadow but the fountains still caught enough light to shimmer. Why she belongs in the app: try “Belvedere Palace Gardens, Vienna,” ca. 1933-4, watch how she turns a postcard view into a quiet room you can almost step into.
