Ion Țarălungă’s prints show official portraits of Elena Ceaușescu from the late 1970s and 80s, ordered by the Ministry of National Defense. In one print she stands stiff in a lab coat beside a microscope; in another she receives flowers from a soldier in front of a crowd of young people. Both prints were delivered as gifts in 1979 and 1984.

Tablou, ulei pe pânză, „Omagiu” , semnat stânga jos indescifrabil, atribuit Ion Țarălungă. Elena Ceaușescu într-un grup de copii și tineri, o tânără femeie militar îi oferă un buchet de flori. Comandat și oferit de Ministerul Apărării Naționale (1984).
Tablou „Elena Ceușescu” semnat dreapta jos indescifrabil, atribuit lui Ion Țarălungă. Tabloul o prezintă pe Elena Ceaușescu într-o postură gravă de cercetător (halat alb și microscop alăturat). Comandat de Consiliul de Conducere al Ministerului Apărării Naționale și oferit Elenei Ceaușescu la 5 ianuarie 1979.
