Jacob Willemsz Delff

Jacob Willemsz Delff was a painter and draftsperson active in the Dutch Republic from 1542 to 1601. He is recognized as a painter from the Northern Netherlands during this period. His professional legacy includes teaching the artist Pieter Cornelisz van Rijck and instructing his own son, Jacob Willemsz. Delff, who also became an artist. He was the parent of Cornelis Jacobsz. Delff, another artist within the family.
