Edmé-François Daubigny was a France artist.

Edmé-François Daubigny was a French painter active during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Born in 1789, he lived until 1843 and dedicated his career to the practice of painting. His artistic formation included study under the artist Jean-Victor Bertin, a mentorship that shaped his early development. Daubigny is also recognized for his role as both parent and teacher to the artist Charles François Daubigny, passing his knowledge and craft to the next generation. Through these familial and pedagogical connections, he contributed to the continuity of artistic tradition in France during his lifetime.
