Alexander van Bredael was a Habsburg Netherlands artist.

Alexander van Bredael was a Flemish painter who lived from 1663 to 1720 within the Habsburg Netherlands. He was the child of the artist Peeter van Bredael and later became the parent of the artist Jan Frans van Bredael. This family lineage established a significant artistic tradition within the region. Alexander van Bredael also served as a teacher to the artist Peeter Snijers, passing on his knowledge to the next generation. His documented life reflects a career dedicated to the practice of painting during the early eighteenth century.
