Louis-Abraham van Loo was a Dutch Republic artist.

Louis-Abraham van Loo was a Dutch painter active during the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries, living from 1653 to 1712 within the Dutch Republic. He was the child of the artist Jacob van Loo, continuing a family tradition of artistic practice. His own legacy includes his role as the parent and teacher of two notable artists, Jean-Baptiste van Loo and Charles André van Loo. Through these relationships, he helped shape the next generation of painters in his lineage. His documented life remains defined by these familial connections and his profession as a painter.
