François Jouffroy was a France artist.

François Jouffroy was a French sculptor, artist, and restorer who lived from 1806 to 1882. His career included a significant role in art education, where he taught several notable figures of the next generation. Among his students were Louis-Ernest Barrias, Alfred Borrel, Jules-Clément Chaplain, Alexandre Falguière, Antonin Mercié, and Albert Louis Dammouse. Through this mentorship, Jouffroy influenced the development of French sculpture during the nineteenth century. His work and teaching contributed to the artistic landscape of his time, leaving a legacy carried forward by his pupils who became prominent artists in their own right.
