Edward Luttrell

Edward Luttrell is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Edward Luttrell spent his days sketching London’s back alleys, always with a stubby pencil tucked behind his ear. At night he’d carve those same scenes into copper plates, printing editions small enough to sell from his coat pocket. The prints show soot-stained brickwork and smudged shop signs, nothing grand, just the city breathing.

That’s why his work feels alive: it’s the London you walk past every day, caught in time. Hunt down Bow Street Runners at the British Museum to see how he turned street gossip into art you can hold.
