Emilie Mundt was a Danish painter who lived from 1842 to 1922 within the Kingdom of Denmark. Her artistic training included study under Jørgen Roed and Vilhelm Kyhn, followed by further instruction with Raphaël Collin. These formative experiences shaped her development as a painter during her lifetime. Later in her career, she passed on her knowledge by teaching the artist Astrid Holm. Mundt dedicated her life to the practice of painting, contributing to the artistic community of her era through both her own work and her role as an educator. Her legacy remains defined by these documented relationships and her profession.
