Joseph François Paris

Joseph François Paris was a French painter and printmaker who lived from 1784 to 1871. He also worked as a porcelain painter during his career. Paris studied under the artists Nicolas Gosse and Jean-Victor Bertin, forming a foundation in his artistic practice. Later, he passed his knowledge to the next generation by teaching the artist Camille Flers. His body of work includes paintings and engravings, reflecting his training and professional activities.
