Erin Corr was a Belgian painter and printmaker of Irish descent, who lived from 1803 to 1862. As an engraver, she maintained significant artistic connections within her family and the broader community. She was the sibling of the artist Fanny Geefs, sharing a creative lineage that influenced her work. Beyond her own practice, Corr played a vital role in education by instructing the artists Willem Linnig the Elder and Jozef Linnig. Her legacy endures through these documented relationships and her contributions to the printmaking tradition in Belgium during the nineteenth century.
