Anca Crăciun

Anca Crăciun made prints in an era when few women signed such work. Her Recolta shows a wheat field shorn to stubble, the cut stalks laid in bundles like quiet braids. She cut the image into metal or wood, then rolled ink across the raised lines to pull the scene onto paper, repeating the motion until each impression stood on its own.
