Kanō Naizen

Kanō Naizen was a Japanese painter active between 1570 and 1616. He studied under the artist Kano Shōei, receiving training that shaped his early development. Later in his career, he served as a teacher to the artist Iwasa Matabei, passing on his knowledge to the next generation. His documented life and professional relationships place him within the artistic lineage of his time.
