Constantin Artachino

Constantin Artachino was a Romanian painter born in 1870 and active until his death in 1954. His artistic formation began under the guidance of Theodor Aman, a significant figure in Romanian art history. Artachino later assumed the role of educator, passing his knowledge to a new generation of artists. Among his notable students were Adam Bălțatu, Nutzi Acontz, and Aurel Băeșu. Through these pedagogical relationships, he contributed to the development of Romanian painting during the early twentieth century. His career remains defined by his work as a painter and his influence as a teacher to these specific individuals.
