Carl Dahl was a Kingdom of Denmark artist.

Carl Dahl was a Danish painter and university teacher who lived from 1812 to 1865. His artistic formation included study under Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg and Jens Peter Møller. Later in his career, he dedicated himself to education, instructing a notable group of artists. His students included Carl Bille, Andreas Riis Carstensen, and Vilhelm Melbye. Through these mentorships, Dahl contributed to the development of Danish art during the mid-nineteenth century. His work as both a practitioner and an educator defined his professional life within the Kingdom of Denmark.
