Bertha Dorph

Bertha Dorph was a Danish artist who lived from 1875 to 1960. She worked as both a painter and a designer during her lifetime. Her artistic education included study under the artist Peter Ilsted and later under Harald Slott-Møller. In her personal life, she was married to the artist N.V. Dorph. These relationships and her training formed the foundation of her career within the Kingdom of Denmark. Her work remains a part of the documented history of Danish art from that era.
