He worked nights at a Greek government office, sketching small, odd moments on his lunch break, empty chairs in cafeterias, a man asleep in a waiting room, a woman staring at a blank wall. His paintings feel like those sketches scaled up: quiet scenes where nothing happens, but you can’t look away.
