Ernst Deutsch-Dryden

Ernst Deutsch-Dryden was the kind of artist who drew magazine covers in his sleep, literally. Between 1932 and 1933, he sketched dreamy women in silk dresses and sharp-suited men, their faces half-lit like movie stars, all for a single, now-lost spread. His work was pure jazz-age glamour, the kind that made readers pause mid-page flip.
