Guillaume Coustou the Younger

Guillaume Coustou the Younger was a French sculptor active during the eighteenth century. Born in 1716, he was the son of the artist Guillaume Coustou the Elder, a connection that placed him within a distinguished artistic lineage. His formal training continued under the guidance of Antoine Coysevox, an established master of the period. Throughout his life, which extended until 1777, Coustou dedicated his practice to sculpture.
