Christina Corbett

Christina Corbett is an artist. 1 work is cataloged here, principally at Victoria and Albert Museum.

Christina Corbett spent years sketching inside Carlisle Cathedral, hiding behind the organ screen to catch the light through the stained glass. She’d sit there for hours, pencil in one hand, tea in the other, drawing the stone arches and colored panes until she knew every curve by heart. Look up her drawing Screen between the choir and the north aisle of Carlisle Cathedral, it’s like standing in the pews with her, watching the colors shift as clouds pass overhead.
